Can I re-arrange the date after booking?
Yes! We just ask for 48 hours’ notice before the current inspection arranged. You can email or phone our office and the team will happily assist in changes to your completion date.
When is the best time to have a snagging survey?
If you are yet to complete or move into your new build property, the best time would be 1 week before completion. Unfortunately, often builders will deny access until you have the keys, in which case we ask for you to book us the day after (rather than on the day of completion as the keys are often not handed over until mid-afternoon) otherwise if you are already living in the property we can come round at any stage as long as it’s within your builders 2-year warranty period.
How do I choose my follow-up inspection dates with the full package?
When booking the full package, we will ask you for your initial snagging survey date, after which the inspector will liaise with you over the next 18 months to carry out the re-inspection to suit you (subject to availability)
How quickly will I get my report?
We aim to turn around the report within 3 working days as we need time to put the report together.
Is a snagging survey the same as a structural survey?
No, a snagging survey is a specialist process that focuses on the quality of workmanship and issues out of building regs/ tolerances set by new build warranty’s (NHBC)
How do I pay for the Inspection?
We charge an initial £50.00 deposit to secure your booking, after the inspection has been carried out and the report processed the remaining balance is then due for payment.
