All purchases are now allowed to have a snagging company come and do a Pre- Completion snag on your new property 5 working days before legal completion.

Our Pre- Completion Snagging surveys follow a checklist devised by the National House Quality Board (NHQB). See the Pre-Completion Inspection report below to see what’s included.

Please note this is not the same inspection as a Post-Completion survey (see below for more info about the differences).

What is the difference between pre-completion & post-completion?

A pre-completion inspection, or PCI snagging inspection, enables prospective homeowners to identify issues (‘snags’) before finalising their purchase, offering peace of mind. In contrast, post-completion snagging inspections provide a comprehensive analysis, exploring issues overlooked during construction or emerging after completion, ensuring a thorough understanding of the property’s condition. Both services contribute to a secure and satisfactory homeownership experience, addressing concerns at different stages of the buying process.
