At HomeSnagging UK, we offer De-Snag Inspections. A follow-up de-snagging survey will check that all previously reported defects have been properly rectified by your developer. This inspection is typically carried out within 12 months of your original snagging survey.

Why book a De-Snag Inspection?
If you’ve had an initial snagging survey and handed over the report to your builder, it’s crucial to follow up. Unfortunately, not all developers’ complete repairs to the required standard. Some snags may still be outstanding or poorly resolved.
A De-Snag Inspection allows us to:

What is involved in a De-Snag Survey?
Our experienced inspectors return to your home to:
- Revisit and check each item from your original snagging report
- Inspect the quality of the remedial works completed
- Record any outstanding or newly emerged issues
- Update your snagging report accordingly
You’ll receive a new PDF report within 24 hours of inspection. Clearly marking what has been resolved and what still requires attention.

When Should I Book a De-Snag?
